FAVERSHAM

Faversham is a quiet medieval market town, just 12 minutes away from Park Farm Barn, which still holds regular markets in the square.

Explore down by the creek and find lots of great antique shops and cafes, or enjoy dinner at Posillipo, a local Italian restaurant with beautiful views over the creek.

The town is also home to the Shepherd Neame brewery, so there are plenty of pubs to enjoy. Particularly recommended are The Sun, The Anchor and The Limes. You can also book to tour the brewery and sample some of its produce along the way.

CANTERBURY

About 25 minutes away from us is the historic city of Canterbury, which has something for everyone. Packed with shops, restaurants and bars for a leisurely day out or take a tour of Canterbury Cathedral and learn about its rich history.

Riverboat trips are available to see the city by river, or a walk through Westgate Gardens to enjoy it on foot.

The Goods Shed is also well worth a visit as a fantastic farmers market, cafe and restaurant in a converted railway building.

WHITSTABLE

The beautiful seaside town of Whistable is perfect for a day at the beach and less than 30 minutes away from Park Farm Barn. Enjoy the fresh seafood at the Lobster Shack or a pint at the Old Neptune, both located right on the beach. Or visit during July for the famous Oyster Festival. The town is packed with wonderful independent shops, cafes and pubs.

Just outside of town in Seasalter is The Sportsman, a Michelin star restaurant serving locally sourced dishes in a beautiful relaxed pub setting.

A much loved farm shop just outside of Faversham selling local produce and specialty items. With a butchers, deli counter and bakery all under one roof, there isn't much you can't find here!

Their café is wonderful and well worth a visit. They also have an outside deck with pop-up restaurants offering takeaway food, including wood-fired pizzas, curries and more.
